Joseph E. Potts, CPA, Chief Executive Officer
Joe is the Co-Founder of FocusONE and has over 20 years of broad based experience in management, finance and administration, and technology services. Joe oversees and is responsible for the leadership, growth, development, and ongoing management of FocusONE. Prior to founding FocusONE, Joe was the CFO/CTO of Nixon Power Services, the world’s largest distributor of Kohler Power Systems and a major regional distributor of GE Jenbacher power generation equipment. He brings a passion for developing products and services that are relevant and will continue to drive ROI for his clients. Joe holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from David Lipscomb University.

Scott T. Smitherman, Chief Operating Officer
Scott is the Co-Founder of FocusONE and has 18+ years experience in telecom sales and customer service, including numerous executive leadership roles. Scott is responsible for developing new relationships and ensuring the continued satisfaction of our existing clientele by making certain that our customer experience is second to none. He oversees the daily management of client relations and other service functions including service implementation and operational Total Expense & Asset Management (T.E.A.M.). Prior to founding FocusONE, Scott was responsible for the European sales and service operations at MCI Corporation, where he gained valuable experience managing in a rapidly growing, highly competitive, customer service driven environment. Scott holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from David Lipscomb University.
